Advanced Details: Don’t write Please be noted that

Note can be a verb that means to make particular mention of in writing. For example:

• Our subsurface team noted Sumalee’s extra efforts in her report.
• Please note the complex structure of this well.
• You may have noted my late arrival.

Note is almost always used in active voice – the passive voice form “be noted” is used only in extremely formal legal documents. We never write “Please be noted” at PTTEP.
