Course Description:
The Basic Field Development Plan (FDP) course introduces participants to the essential concepts, workflow, and decision‑making process behind developing an FDP. The course provides a foundation for understanding how multidisciplinary inputs from subsurface, drilling and wells, surface facilities, commercial evaluation, and economics contribute to building a robust and fit‑for‑purpose development strategy. Participants will explore the full FDP process, learn the key technical and commercial elements required to support development decisions.
