The objective of the e-learning course “How to Apply PDPA Documents – What Employees Should Know” is to enhance knowledge and skills in selecting and using PDPA documents in real workplace scenarios – whether managing vendors, drafting contracts, or handling data in various activities – so that employees can perform their duties in full compliance with the PDPA. This course is divided into six chapters as follows:
Chapter 1: General Principles of the PDPA
Review the meaning and types of personal data, including the importance of legal bases.
Chapter 2: Selection of Documents Related to the Request for Personal Data
Learn how to use privacy notices, consent forms, and cookie policies.
Chapter 3: Selection of Contract Clauses Related to Personal Data
Explain how to apply DPAs and DTAs based on the roles of contracting parties to protect personal data when engaging vendors or transferring data.
Chapter 4: Case Studies on PDPA Document Usage
Explore real workplace situations employees may encounter with practical guidance on choosing the right documents.
Chapter 5: Penalties
Understand the legal penalties and risks that may arise from improper use of PDPA documents.
Chapter 6: Summary
Summarize correct practices and reinforce the importance of respecting data subject rights.
Employees are required to complete the course and take a 12-question test. A score of 10 or above will be considered a passing grade.
