“Inform” means to tell someone about something, especially in an official way. Inform somebody (of/about something). It is almost always used in active voice, with no “that” necessary. Remember, you must inform someone—you cannot directly write only The company informed that we would get an additional holiday. You must write The company informed all employees that we would get an additional holiday. :)
- Please inform us of any changes of address.
- The guidelines informs everyone about working safely offshore.
- The manager went to inform them of his decision.
You can write “informed” with “that” in passive voice, e.g.,
- Please be informed that this course is mandatory for all staff.
