Basic Hazardous Area Classifications

Overview 

This course provides fundamental concepts in hazardous area classification, the basic knowledge in explosion-proof installation, hazardous area types of protection, national code of practice, including selection, installation, maintenance and use of equipment in hazardous areas. 

Objectives 

To provide the trainee understanding of the definition, concepts and basic knowledge of hazardous area classification, also codes, standard and recommended practice concerning electrical safety.
